Understand how refunds work for cancellations, deposits, and disputes.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are processed for rental bookings made through the Pickrbox Platform. Refund eligibility and amounts are determined by the cancellation policy set by each individual Store Owner. By making a booking, you agree to the applicable cancellation and refund terms as displayed on the product page at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation-Based Refunds
Cancellation policies are set by individual Store Owners and fall into one of the following tiers:
• Flexible: Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery time. • Moderate: 100% refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before; 50% refund if cancelled within 48 hours. • Strict: 100% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before; 50% refund if cancelled 3-7 days before; no refund within 3 days. • Non-refundable: No refund after booking confirmation.
The applicable cancellation policy is always displayed on the product page and in your booking confirmation.
3. Security Deposit Refunds
If your rental required a security deposit, it will be refunded in full after the product is returned in acceptable condition. The Store Owner inspects the product upon return and initiates the refund. If there is damage, the Store Owner may deduct reasonable repair or replacement costs and refund the remaining deposit amount. Security deposit refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after the Store Owner confirms the return.
4. Store-Initiated Cancellation Refunds
If a Store Owner cancels a confirmed booking for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the rental amount and security deposit, regardless of the store's cancellation policy. These refunds are processed automatically within 5-7 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method:
• UPI payments: Refunded within 1-3 business days. • Credit/Debit cards: Refunded within 5-7 business days. • Net banking: Refunded within 5-7 business days. • Digital wallets: Refunded within 3-5 business days.
Refund timelines depend on your bank or payment provider and may vary. Pickrbox does not control the processing speed of third-party financial institutions.
6. Service Fee
The Pickrbox service fee may be non-refundable even when a rental refund is issued due to customer-initiated cancellation. In cases of Store Owner-initiated cancellations or product issues, the service fee will be refunded in full.
7. Disputes & Escalation
If you believe a refund has been incorrectly processed or you have a dispute regarding a deposit deduction, please contact the Store Owner through the booking details page first. If the issue remains unresolved, you can escalate to Pickrbox support via WhatsApp (+91 96061 54523) or email (support@pickrbox.com). Our team will review the case and work towards a fair resolution.
